aren't Raspberry Pis non profit? I'm pretty sure that someone would actually need to pay to get a lower price.

Eal12333That is correct, the Raspberry Pi Model B costs $35, we make our money selling kits with the unit itself, here is some more information on their distribution model: http://www.raspberrypi.org/help/faqs/#buyingCost
