These are strictly for sewing. That is what I learned after being told that they can be used for embroidery. Too much movement & did NOT work with my Bernina 8 series machines. Save your money and buy a sturdy used dining room table.
I will probably buy one of these eventually, but the Massdrop would make it sooner rather than later.

I actually have the smaller Sew Ezi table and love it. However, I would like the bigger one for my larger machine. They are portable, have wheels so you don't have to carry them (though they don't weigh much) and steady to sew on. You can order multiple inserts for different machines.
