The Moto 360 kinda sucks. It uses a 3 year old SoC and has horrible battery life.

dafolzeyIf you don't wear a watch 24/7 then who cares if you charge it over night

dafolzeyDo you use one regularly or are you just basing this off other reviews?

dafolzeyDo you own one?
I own one and can say that the battery life is just fine. I consider myself a heavy user and have not had the watch die on me before I went to bed. Every night, I put it on the cradle with at least 50% battery, if not more.
The chip is fine. I haven't noticed any stuttering or anything. It's only pushing to a 360x360 screen, it's fine.

CombsTheDesertI don't own one. But just going off of what a smart watch is used for and reviews, I don't really think a 3 year old SoC is detrimental to the performance of the watch, just the battery life, which I don't need to own to say isn't acceptable. Right now, 2 days seems to be what is acceptable for a smart watch, most reviews are claiming 8 hours on the 360. I'd like to get a G Watch R just to play with it, but I don't see myself using it daily until they make one that's waterproof and shockproof and has a battery that lasts at least a week, preferably a month.

dafolzeyI've had a Moto360 for months.
The battery is usually between 40-50% after 16 hours of what is in my case typical use (ambient display off, approximately 1 voice command every two hours, several checks per hour for new notifications). It's great that the Pebble lasts a week, and I'm certainly not saying it's perfect, but it's reasonably in spec with what a normal person would require from a smart watch.

dafolzeyIn theory, it should be terrible yet if you get the chance to use one, it works tremendously.
