To clarifty, this was only released to "core" stores and AFAIK that means they had to run at least one booster draft a week. At least, this is how my LGS described the process. Most reputable places only got a few and are giving them out as tournament prizes.

That is correct, core stores got 10 or 20 each, depending on how much volume they do. Massdrop is not eligible to get any :(<br /><br />I'll be getting one copy from one of our contacts and I'll be distributing that in some way shape or form, still to be determined.
I mean, the FTV is only supposed to be distributed to game stores, was my understanding. I'm not sure if they can make it happen

I dunno, the same thing was said about Modern Masters. <br /><br />I wouldn't bet large sums of money on it, but seems to me if ANYBODY can manage it, it's Mass Drop.
Can't wait to see how much we can get off retail on this one.

Sadly it doesn't look like this is going to happen, or else we would have heard about it by now. Due to the super limited release of this set, getting a drop for it may simply be impossible.
When would we hear back from massdrop about this?

i suggest we do one per person and you have to vote in order to secure your order.
this will be interesting. I highly doubt we'll get a drop, as the pre-orders right now on ebay are insane, but I'd love to try and get us there.

I play mtg fairly competitively and I would love to get my hands on a few cards in this set; that's with less than half spoiled, too! Getting the entire set at MSRP to even twice MSRP would be great.
