Product Description
The Red Scarf 8308MINI Keyboard Kit is an homage to the classic Cherry G81 8308 keyboard, famous for shifting the function key row up a few millimeters. The 8308 MINI brings that style to the modern age with an anodized CNC aluminum case, a 5.5-degree typing angle, and a carbon fiber plate for extra rigidity Read More

Is this programmable? If so, QMK/VIA, or something else?

Likely proprietary software like in their other projects. QMK doesn't seem entirely off the table though.
Is this a top, tray, or gasket mount keyboard?

Seems like Top mount based on the pictures. No gaskets included but seems there is some space for o-rings maybe. And since only the plate appears mounted the flex should be somewhat apparent.

Please fix this listing. It lists no additional plate materials / options, it does not list the mounting style, it does not describe the upper brass weight (if it even is brass), it does not describe the typing angle of the board, it does not describe the front height of the board, it does not show the bottom or side profile of the case, it does not show the PCB, it does not describe if foam is included, and the list goes on. My impression is that this kit is worth $150-$180 at most. Many other DIY kits include many more options with regard to finish and parts and still cost much less. Enthusiasts who've been in the hobby a while would actively avoid this, if only because so much information is missing. While it's understandable that custom machined keyboards from small makers SHOULD cost a pretty penny, and while I'm sure Drop needs their cut, the lack of features and information don't live up to the price. EDIT: If whoever made this listing sufficiently updates it and asks me to delete this comment, I will happily do so.
