Sorry, but I have to ask...is this drop for real or another vapor trick? In other words are these really available or just a figment of imagination? I've sought to get a pair of these so many times only to find they don't really exist or that someone bought 200 pair to sell on ebay for 3 times what they are worth. I've been burned on this drop so many times I've come to doubt it's existence.

skpetic1This drop is limited to 225 units. With 140 already spoken for, there are 85 remaining with 7 days to go, which means they will probably become "another vapor trick" very soon, but *not* right now.

Casey_SJWaiting to hear back from support before I try to attempt to purchase. By the time that happens the so-called 85 remaining will be long gone. By now, I get the picture that these headphones are just not for me. I'll stick with a different set from amazon or something.

skpetic1Why don't you join now before all of them are gone while waiting? I joined last run in the middle of July and I now have a pair on my head.

skpetic1I was part of the very first drop and have had my headphones for a long time now. Not sure how you ever got burned from Massdrop unless you kept coming back when the drop for these wasn't active.
It sounds like you're used to retail merchants, and Massdrop is not a retail "store".

C100Once again I was not able to get a pair of these so-called headphones. I went to risk it a few minutes later when it said 7 days left and they were gone when I clicked. This only proves that they do not really exist. What a joke. I'm sticking with real places like Amazon or something.

skpetic1it was limited to 225 units, you should have bought them when you had the chance. They'll be back.

MeddlesomeDuckI tried but support would not get back to me. I don't know what this place does with credit card info and what have you. I was trying to get some security questions answered first. Then I decided to risk it and when I clicked they were gone just like before...same thing. This is the third time! Is this place a funding site for something? Do any products really exist? The lack of support is also disturbing. Sure they will be back because they do not exist. I'm done with this. I'm sticking to real stuff on amazon or something. I'd rather pay full price and know what I am getting and when.

InsTwinNo, I saw it. It's something I try to avoid. I was concerned whether or not they use paypal for processing. I'm more concerned about having my card number stored on the servers or something at ready access. I always delete the info when I purchase something on-line after everything has been processed.

koltster91Yes, as obvious as that is. The same reason I do not go anywhere near ebay. I'm guessing this is kind of like that. I have come to that conclusion. I think 3 tries is more than enough.

skpetic1You clearly do not know Paypal works. Paypal is an intermediary. Essentially they capture your details and secure it with 256 bit Secure Socket Layer encryption over the internet. Where they then further secure your card details on their servers. Massdrop never sees your card information when using Paypal. All they get on their end is a buy order ID number on the Paypal slip they receive which they link to shipping details on their site that you supplied Massdrop with. So this is basically as secure as internet banking is going to get. Look if you are so skeptical about the validity of Massdrop you should never have signed up. Trust me when I say no company in their right mind would spend the amount of time and money that all the reviews etc that involve Massdrop to set up a fake site to sell you products. Furthermore even if someone did do that, do you not think someone would have launched an investigation into Massdrop.

Zer0lagI know all to well how paypal works. Once was enough. I go out of my way to avoid them. You right, it was a bad decision to sign up.

AABCDSMust have been lead based paint. The guy actually sounds like he is from a rival site or something, trying to make bad posts to ward people away from Massdrop.
