Just a simple question: only one tube and it’s a stereo unit, how can that be? are the two channels driven by one single tube? Is there a multiplexing device that feeds both channel to the tube? Wouldn’t be better to have one tube per channel ? Anyone?

6922/6DJ8 tubes are dual triode tubes, they have two signal paths so allowing for stereo with a single tube. This also means you'll want a tube that is well balanced, since you want both left and right channels to be as evenly matched as possible.
