I got the Mk2 on a previous drop. Flimsy switches and the line/USB was always flaky; it quit yesterday. When it worked, it was average in terms of quality and I used my Astell&Kern setup mainly. Huge difference both in quality and price. I have several spare tubes, including 2 of the Russians, looking for employment.

Have the t1 hooked up on foobar, and I am abit lost. It does only give sound via wasapi if I select the 32 bit(?) option with output selection. Others (8-16-14) give unsupported error message by foobar (eg Unrecoverable playback error: Unsupported stream format: 96000 Hz / 24-bit / 2 channels). And if I play hires (eg 24/192), it gives noise during playback using the 32bit option. Any advice other than not using wasapi :-) ? Many thx!

the XMOS drivers linked in here (older version is included on the flash drive that came with the device) and https://sourceforge.net/projects/sacddecoder/files/foo_input_sacd/ if you want wasapi/dsd support

No. Actually, this "Gold Lion" is not the old original Gold Lion. The company that makes Electro-Harmonix 6922 used the name for the premium version of its 6922. So it's new and not NOS. I'm not 100% sure though. You can watch this video. I don't know if all the information of it is correct.

Is this a better replacement to my o2 dac/amp combo?

Well I don't like solid-state sound that much in general, and you can't find almost any hybrid using 6H30PI. So yeah, I prefer this, especially since it's cheaper.

So it doesn't supply 220V....right? I think I need to wait for releasing that.

Should I get this for the HD 6XX headphones or should I go with the JDS Labs Atom AMP and the Topping D10 DAC? Thank you, I got to decide quick since this GB ends in 2 days.

This is a great deal for dac/amp combo. U can always use the dac ( since that is where the tube comes in ) and feed to another amp down the road. This has plenty of power for 6xx with gain on 2 and sounds great with both planars and dynamics. The aune is probably slightly warmer than the atom/topping combo...i would guess
