Sorry to say this but, this is just an OBD II scanner with a few extra features. I have an ODB II scanner that i can connect to with bluetooth (just like this one) and it can read engine errors, and real time information like speed, RPM, engine temp, Mass air flow, ect. I bought it for not joking $4.66 on ebay. Now granted this has way more features like GPS and a nicer looking application for your phone. But in my opinion, for what your getting, its worth about half as much as they are asking for it.

angrybaconmanYea, it's important to note that there are plenty of these available out there in the ~$20 range right on amazon.

angrybaconmanIf all you are looking for is to look for OBDII codes and system vitals from time to time, I suppose you can find equivalent devices pretty easily that cost less than an Automatic.
I found the constant logging it does in the background to be very helpful. If nothing else, the extra money I was able to get when I sold my previous cars because I had thorough Automatic trip loggings more than pays for the device itself.
