I've had one for over 5 years, and while it has held up really well, the silicone thermometer gasket inside the kettle can get snagged and broken by a towel when drying. I have been trying for years to find a replacement gasket with no luck. Kettle still works up to half full, then the weight from the water will break the seal. Just be careful drying and it will last forever.
