Pairing a custom balanced armature driver with a 10-millimeter ADLC diaphragm dynamic driver, each Dorado 2020 earphone accurately reproduces highs and lows with plenty of balance and detail. The enclosure is ceramic—a material Campfire has been using for years to focus the strength of their dynamic drivers with virtually no resonant bleed. This is achieved through a sintering process that bakes the enclosures at ultra high heat to achieve hardness that resists wear and vibrations. The high-gloss polish on the surface gives the earphones a shiny, gunmetal finish that makes them feel premium and sleek. Each Dorado 2020 comes with a silver-plated copper cable in a matching smoky litz color, a huge array of ear tips, and a “Diver Orange”, recycled plastic carrying case.
