Product Description
For the third installment of our Caps for Causes program, we’re raising funds to combat the crisis in Ukraine with newly designed keycaps that embrace the country, its culture, and its courageous people. We’ve been overwhelmed by the support shown in our previous Treecaps and Streamcaps efforts, and would like to call on our community once again to provide aid for this current crisis. Designed by Matt3o with help from his Ukrainian friend, our Ukrainecaps sets feature Ukrainian imagery and phrases—including the words “glory,” “heroes,” and “Ukraine” in Cyrillic: the official Ukrainian text.

Good lettering, good material (PBT), but the color doesn't match the traditional WoB colorway. The white leans a bit more towards tan/grey. It's not subtle either, as soon as I took my first look at them (without anything to compare to), they seemed of. I mean, it's for a good cause so I can't complain too much.
It always feels good to buy something that could have a huge impact on someone else's life. It's also nice to have something to show for it of this quality. Honestly, these keys have inspired me to purchase more keycaps in the mt3 profile.
I was hoping to match this with any one of my white GMK sets or one of my dye-sub bow sets, but the base plastic color is a beige gray instead of the white shown in the renders. I bought this to support Ukraine and get something cool, so I'm not really annoyed
The caps here are fine: dye-sub and colored accurately, no crazy alignment issues, came relatively fast. Nothing to write home about.
But as to why people actually bought this (the donation to Ukraine), the total 'proceeds' generated from a $10 sale may be as low as a couple dollars or a few cents per set. It's frustrating that Drop hasn't provided any information about their donation here even though the run is sold out and finished, so we must take them at their word that they've done so... and I don't feel like they are the most trustworthy vendor around (see: lying about owning Holy Panda molds, the recent MT2 name attribution drama, etc.).
If you want to support Ukraine, donate directly to any of the reputable organizations providing aid there. A $10 donation there is $10 towards relief, not $X to the manufacturer, $Y to Drop, and the leftover $Z to Ukraine. I am glad Drop has offered these, but I feel the process could be improved.
These keycaps are so off colored and don't look anything like the render, it is not worth the money. The only reason why it isn't a 1-star is because I care about the cause.
