Honestly guys, I'm on the fence between the M8 and the Cypher Labs Theorem 720. It seems as though they are neck and neck in sound quality based on the reviews I've read. With the cyber discount the 720 is still about $60 more expensive, but has 18 hours of battery life vs 6 hours for the M8. The 720 is made in the US if that matters. Hey how about a push?

CompassionatorThe 720 is great. I originally bought it over the M8 because of the battery life. It really struggles with IEMs though. HUGE amount of noise. Adapters are also needed if you have full size balanced cans. An adapter to convert 4 pin balanced to RSA/ALO will set you back around $130 so factor that in if its needed...

CompassionatorM8 is made in USA. Right here in Chicago. Consider that it has three outputs, can drive three headphones at the same time, has no appreciable noise, has tone shaping controls, etc etc. And M8 was named "best amp ever tested" by CNET.
