Thanks, I'm aware of the type of alloy it is, and that it is supposed to have good tolerances. I assume you meant no clear coat, since quite obviously it's not plated.
Anyone has firsthand experience with this puzzle? Is it hard, very hard, or casual? I have a couple of very difficult Hanayama puzzles (the Donut and the Cast Laby; in the Demanding and Grueling categories according to this site) and I enjoy them immensely. If this is the same level, I'm in for both this and the Venn Sphere puzzle!!!!
BobrazIf you want both and Craighill's newest Tycho puzzle, you might want to check their Indiegogo account. (Found it via their homepage → Tycho.) There you can get all three in a set for an even lower per-piece price.
