Bought for the minis

Gonna be real, I did not play these games. I bought them for the minis, and they were a great deal if you're looking for a lot of unpainted minis.

I picked up a couple of these bad boys, The Legend of Drizzt and Wrath of Ashardalon. I bought them for the minis, particularly because of a currently ongoing Dungeons and Dragons campaign my group is playing. When the boxes came I immediately checked out the figures and they were great. My DM in particular was pleased. Then we decided to give the game itself a try. The initial set up was a bit overwhelming with the sheer amount of stuff contained in the box, even if you are conservative about opening things up. However once we were past that, the game was a blast. Once the game mechanics were understood, and they are not too complex once you see them in motion, it was a cool dungeon crawl experience without the need of a Dungeon Master. In all, very satisfied with this purchase. If this drops again, I'll grab another couple of these boxes.
