Warning, pilots: this is no test flight. The mission is a go, and it’s anything but routine. Designed by Data, Danger Zone features a yellow-on-blue colorway that pays tribute to some of the best pilots in the world. With navy blue alphas, gray modifiers, and flight-themed novelties from actual aircraft controls, this high-flying set breaks all the rules of engagement. This time around, it’s also sculpted in a new profile. See below for more details.
Note: To avoid confusion with the current checkout system, we will be changing the drop points manually for this drop. We are paying attention to the number of child kits being bought as well. If they reach certain quantities, we will adjust their prices accordingly. Same Bold Colors in a New Profile
Like the last round of Danger Zone, this one is designed by Massdrop community member Data. However, unlike last round, it’s sculpted in full SA profile, rather than uniform SA row 3. This change makes for a comfy, angled feel from front to back that you can’t get with uniform profiles. Produced by Signature Plastics, the caps are made from durable doubleshot ABS plastic for a vivid look and long-lasting construction. The legends are special, too: done in Signature Plastic’s Gorton Modified house font, they’re the same font used on aircraft controls and displays since the 1950s.
Alpha Kit
The base alphas come with yellow legends. You’ll need the alphas to outfit any keyboard.
Modifiers
Together with a set of alphas, this is all you need to fill a 60% or TKL keyboard. The modifiers kit also include accent pieces for the Enter and Escape keys.
Numpad Kit
The Numpad Kit comes with all the keys you need for a numpad along with a few accent keys.
Specialties
The specialties kit will let you build a variety of special keyboard layouts, which usually depends on the regular modifier kit.
UK ISO
International kit covering the UK layout.
AeroDox
This kit is compatible with the ErgoDox keyboard.
Ortholinear
This kit is compatible with ortholinear keyboards like the Planck and Preonic.
Wingman
A text novelty kit with aviation-inspired legends.
Arrows
This kit offers text and novelty arrows in the alphas and accent colors.
Alternate Function
Function keys in an alternative color.
Space Force
Short, blank keys for spacebars on split keyboards like the VE.A and others.
Spacebars (BFU / YY)
These kits offer extra 6.25 and 7u spacebars in their respective colors.
