At first glance, this Haptic Macro Pad might look like any other macro pad from DOIO’s lineup, but under the hood, it packs a nifty little tactile trick. As you might guess from the name, there’s a mechanical haptic engine underneath the key switches that, depending on the mode, can give you an array of physical feedback. There’s a solenoid valve mode that aims to give you the feel and response of a vintage typewriter, while the buzzer mode gives you a playful, raspy response. Beyond the haptic responses, there’s a lot to like about this keyboard as a macro pad. There are four high-quality mechanical switches and one encoder that can all be customized using QMK or VIA to add some macro control to your setup. There’s high-quality RGB lighting to bring the macro pad further to life, and the gold-plated FR4 fiberglass PCB brings the quality through to the brains of the operation. The Haptic Macro Pad ships with a set of transparent polycarbonate keycaps matching whichever of the four colorways you choose.
