The Douk Audio VU9 is a desktop auxiliary light unit that serves as a nostalgic accent piece and a nifty way for you to measure the levels of your audio output. Modeled with inspiration from the nixie tube clocks of the past, the VU9 is actually a pair of glass pillars filled with custom LED beads that elegantly approximate classic tube-style lighting. The unit features nine display modes with adjustments for brightness, color, and movement patterns. Each of those movement patterns reacts to the levels and transients of your music using either the 3.5-millimeter line input or the built-in microphone pickup.
