Mine broke. I'd noticed some heavy oxidation on the earloop areas spreading out realize the cable to the 2pin area had cracked open on both. Finally an ear began cutting out. Will try to fix it.
I love using Eletech's cables. I'd say they would outperform this for the price point, but it's hard to know every time with cables. Is there a DROP guide, like the "Understanding Headphone Reviews" guide posted in the General area, to how Cables/cable quality is quantified? I just use my ears to qualify the difference, but know there's a whole science to quantifying it.
"A good pair of IEMs is only as good as its cable. " lol. only if you're an audiofool, because according to the laws of physics, that's about as BS of a statement as they come. has this become snakeoil.com overnight?
i was obviously not talking about the ergonomics/usability, and i'm more than reasonably confident the audiofool author of the article wasn't either ;)
you should brush up on your physics and how cables "work", because that's about as dumb of a statement as i've seen an audiofool make. by the time the cable makes a difference in the transmission of this type of signal, it's so long it defeats any kind of reasonable definition of "headphone cable" 'cause you're now listening to your setup across the street from your source
Just an FYI for anyone planning on getting the Premium 2 Pin, 2.5mm TRRS cable for their x MEE Audio Planamic: The IEMs have a metal hump in the 2 pin cavity that is matched on the stock cable but the Drop cables don't have a corresponding cavity, making it very challenging to get the cable plugged in.
Correct me if I'm wrong, aren't there 2 different pin spacings on 2 pin cables? Which one's are these??? Shouldn't that information be posted on the listing? Did I just miss it???
JohnmightymIt's kind of there but it's not intuitive. If you look at the list of iem's they say are compatible with this cable, you will see that they all use a 0.78mm 2-pin connection.
