If your ALT keyboard needs a new look, we have you (and it) covered. Introducing our latest line of CNC’d aluminum cases, featuring five curated colorways ready to accent any ALT.
I wanted a white case to make my Drop Alt look like the white Razer Huntsman mini. But the silver option really compliments white PBT keycaps with the RGB on.
Worth the money!
These are great, same quality that goes into all of Drop’s products. The difference in tone between between the black and “almost black” is shuttle but noticeable. I personally like it a lot.
Drop doesn't disappoint with their build quality and color anodization of their cases or keyboards. Very satisfied with my Burgundy case that allows me to further customize my Drop Alt
I threw this on my old Massdrop board (one towards the end that I do not need to change the diffuser on) and I absolutely love it. They are cut and finished much nicer than my old stock case. Fits well with my red keycaps as well. Absolute style upgrade.
I went from a stock Drop Alt High Profile to this slim version which looks great but going backwards from the stock version very solid no feet required to the newer slimmer version the feet keeps falling off and very unstable.
During the install process I damaged the board somehow and 2 led went bad and broke off 2 switches during the swap. $270 high profile, add on's another $150 = $420 into this board. The overall board is okay but for the overall total what I paid not worth on a beginner board. That total amount of money could have went into a way way better custom board. Not to mention this left 4 States over from where I live and took a total of 2 - weeks to get to me. Sorry DROP your overall HIGH PRICES and extremely SLOW SHIPPING, WAIT TIMES is just not worth it to me anymore.
Sounds like your the one that broke off the 2 switches and the leds... Not to serve Drop too much justice but this is one of the best products they have put out in a while, shipping time here is faster than anything you'll find in this community. These cases are very well built and are still "cheap" compared to the rest of the market. It sounds like your gripe is with the keyboard industry and its standards, not Drop. Just don't flame them, I'm only writing this cause it seems injustice to do so.
