Nice upgrade from the oG

It's nice upgraded with much better RGB and features; however, my first board had a broke switch and some chatter issues on the right USB. Drop is replacing it though. Hopefully I have better luck with the replacement.

Pulled my old ALT out of retirement!

My first custom keyboard was my low-profile Drop ALT. Got more into the hobby over the years and the ALT has been gathering dust for a looooong time. If you own an ALT with an original PCB, this upgrade sells itself. Adding 5-pin switch support was HUGE since it was a major pain-point for me with the ALT. New PCBA is VIA compatible AND supports screw-in stabs?? Easy, no-brainer purchase for anyone looking to give their ALT some much needed love. Revieved, reflashed and no problems configuring with VIA!

On receiving the PCB I had some issues which felt like there was an issue with the amount of voltage being sent out through my PC's USB port, but had no issues flashing an updated firmware and it has worked a treat since!

I wish there was more easily findable support online for how to properly disassemble an ALT V1 and "convert" it into an ALT V2, as I had to rely on some other unrelated product descriptions which had more detail as well as YouTube.

Still working after 6 months

Each key on the second row was triggering all keys from its column! Checked everything with a multimeter for about 1 hour and couldn't find the culprit, then it started to work normally!

Usb-c ports a little faulty

Both ports (right one more than left one) have trouble staying connected all the time. Cable has a loose fit inside port and this happens with multiple cables. Other than that it works and has super bright rgb
