Looks solid, didn't notice anything soldered weird. Direct replacement. Fits great. I wish it would have been a bit cheaper. Would have scored six stars if it had south facing LED's.
It's a nice board with good lighting features. I'm usually not one for RGB lights on my stuff - but with this board I'm able to have it act more as an underglow and it is comfortably subtle.
The PCB won't fit due to a lip running through the middle of the case. Useless unless you are willing to physically mod your case or end up unknowingly choosing the correct PCB stabilizers
DreadnovghtThe ALTV2 cases are made for Plate-Mounted Stabilizers.
PCB Mounted ones do not work with current cases. The PCB stabilizer mount spots on the PCB is more of a future proofing design choice.
As mentioned in other reviews, I bought this with the foam package, which was a significant upgrade in sound. It adds 5-pin compatibility and works with Via. I decided to upgrade the switches while I was at it. Very satisfied with the end result.
Screw in stabilizer support (Does not fit on the enter key, metal lining inside case and screw in stabilizer interferes with case closing)
Note: when installing switches support the hotswap socket underneath with your finger to prevent damaging the socket which is a common point of failure.
