What types of wet conditions do you regularly encounter? If you are routinely submersed in the ocean or a lake/stream, there are some much better options for you.

Can you clarify wet? Like "drenched in the blood of your enemies" or "sweaty" or "just got done washing the dog and my hands are soapy." Cause all have their own unique challenges. First, if it's number one, you're probably wise to consider blood splatter and modern DNA collection - as this is far more likely to happen if you're all stabby, wildly acting out of passion or an impulsive jealous rage. If you're hands are bloody before you start in with this charming "Italian toothpick," chances are, you're going home with some scars of your own.
More importantly, you're probably leaving some clues behind when your DNA mixes with your victim? Target? eh... Recipient? If you're sweaty, ask yourself, "am I nervous because I'm about to stab somebody or because I just did?" And if so, what other options have you considered - like running for the hills, for instance.
If you just washed the dog, then whatinthehell are you doing playing with sharp objects for now tough guy? Are you lookin for trouble? Because this is not the time to fish that giant piece of earwax outta of your left ear, pal. Maybe dry the dog off and use the towel yourself. Then go crazy.
So in summary, use your noggin, big shot, if you're hands are wet, this might be a good time to dry them off on your pants legs at very least. Unless you're coming out of a lagoon with this baby between your teeth ala "Rambo Style," which let's face it, kinda went out of style in the 80's, wet hands and sharp cutlery don't make for great companions unless you're a Navy Seal. And even then, have you considered the leeches?

It is more of a showpiece than utility knife. So the question is kind of irrelevant.

Perhaps....but I think there are better knives for wet work.

Anyone know if this will ship to Melbourne, Australia? The legality of knives like this is poorly described online.

I live in Melbourne and have imported a ton of single edge flippers without issue. One incorrect seizure in approx 75 knives, took about 6 weeks to clear up, then arrived with a letter saying they'd reversed the decision. I can't guarantee you anything but I think there's little reason to worry.

Is this a flipper or automatic? Seems like a flipper, but why make a "stiletto" that's not automatic?
