Since its introduction last year, the PC38X has been one of the community’s favorite gaming headsets. Whether it’s that 15th zoom meeting of the day or the 2am grind to platinum, the clear and punchy sound signature makes them a pleasure for both work and play. And while they’re comfortable enough to let you get it all done on those long days, not everyone was in love with the distinctive black and yellow colorway.
To those who let us know they wanted something just a little more sleek and professional looking, your requests have been heard.
We have worked with EPOS (the artist formerly known as Sennheiser gaming) to create an all black version of the PC38X. No other tinkering required, so you can expect the same great audio and comfort as before, but with a stealthy new look and the new EPOS branding.
Happy holidays everyone!
I just ordered the yellow one for the Black Friday sale, and now you guys finally come out with a black variant? Why didn't you guys announce it in tandem with the sale? I would've gladly payed the extra for black. It's already shipped out so there's no going back and I'm kinda angry rn.
TheMexicnBananaYep same situation here!
… would’ve been a bigger kick in the nuts if they offered the same discount as the yellow. Given the current US-Aus exchange rate at the moment, I reckon I can put up with the yellow for that extra discount.
We need a wireless version of this ASAP. I love my PC37X, but the cable is always getting hooked on my chair armrest. These look so much better than most other headsets on the market, without the silly gamer aesthetic. Just free us from the wires!
So there are some wireless headsets that are good but they are a bit more expensive. Also, they tend to have at least one major compromise. At least at the high end. I also don't think open back and wireless will work well together. I mean I don't think I have ever seen an open-back wireless headset. If you know any, please tell me.
bobalover@Drop is it just that you can’t figure out a wireless battery version of these headphones or the sonics just won’t work? I honestly can’t understand why you can’t make a wireless version of these
SexPandaByOdeonIt is much easier to make a wireless headphone wired, then it is to make a wired headphone wireless. Carving out the space needed to fit the battery and electronics would impact the headphones performance and major tooling changes would be needed to make the mic removable. We do have plans to make what you are asking for next year, it will just take some time and effort to see them through.
i am assuming you are on pc. grab an apple dongle type C and a usb adapter if needed. set mic to 85 to 90% gain. thank me later. the static is coming from two location possible 1. the worst option is you got a defected pair or 2. your pc. the dongle will fix that while providing a better audio quality as well.
I bought the PC38X a couple of days ago, and it arrived today. The packaging wasn't beat up, nothing was damaged, blah blah.
There's those 2 cables, the splitter and the one with just 2 ends. I'm using the one with just 2 ends for my laptop.
When I plug it in, audio only comes from one ear, and any level of talking sounds distant and echoey, like you're in a auditorium. Any audio that is not talking, sounds flat, dull, and is just generally not high quality. This is not my desired experience.
Is it a problem with the headphones? A problem with my device?
I plugged them into my 7th gen iPad, and they had the same problem.
I'm using a dell G15 5511 Gaming laptop, and I plugged in another 3.5 mm headphone that I had, and it doesn't have that problem.
Do I need to buy a sound card? Should I ask for a different pair?
I need some help here, because these were very expensive headphones, and I've heard very good things about them. I'd hate to have to return them.

Harrison0912sure! I followed a guide I found on Youtube titled "HUNT SHOWDOWN | HEAR LIKE A PRO ( SOUND GUIDE )" uploaded by Blazeus. You can copy and paste that into youtube search to find it hope that helps!
Audio is great, mic is good, build quality isn't bad, materials are nice. However recieved faster , the headband glue starts to peel off after a couple weeks of use.

I really wish that I can review this item, but I didn't received my order yet for more than 3 month now.
It is annoying that even customer support are not replying on my tickets lately.
zkareemzHello @zkareemz Thank you for your patience. We apologize for the delayed delivery and response. I’ve just responded to your ticket and hope to hear from you soon.
I definitely would've bought this if it came out earlier, but I got the HD 560S and a separate mic instead. (Nothing against the yellow, but I need a professional look.)
This version looks great, but I wonder about the value proposition now that the EPOS H6PRO exists with better build, better mic, detachable mic, and open or closed option, for a comparable price. (Assuming this sale is temporary and shipping is extra.)
I think if I was buying now, I'd go for the H6PRO. I'm actually considering the closed version, or the cheaper H3.
I've had this headset for quite sometime and it works great, but suddenly, the mic stopped working. Other mics work with my pc just fine, but this mic` no longer gets picked up on an apps including realtech audio interface and even the control panel. I was wondering if there was any way I could fix this or any ideas as to what the problem could be?
