I got these for a friend as a birthday gift. He had used them every gaming session since and he loves them. His mic quality is a nice upgrade from the mic he used in the past, and he has had nothing but a positive experience. From music to gaming these are awesome headphones.
I have no complaints, though I'm not an audiophile so I can't say whether the sound is satisfactory for audiophiles. I've just been using this headset for casual gaming and Zoom calls. The velour earpads are comfortable too.
My Razer BlackShark V2 X was $70 CAD and I feel like these are a slight upgrade over them. The PC38X cost me $200 CAD (plus customs cost me about an additional $50) so around $250 total. They do sound better than the Razers, the sound on these is more neutral, more cleaner, the vocals especially sound better, I just don't like the high price tag, maybe if I didn't get charged customs I'd have had a more pleasant experience. So yeah, for the better sound quality I do appreciate these headphones, but for $250, I'm not impressed sorry. I'm not a nerd audiophile so I don't get orgasms over audio sounds like some people. There is a difference between my Razer BlackShark V2 X and these, however the difference is NOT mind blowing. Some people are like "oh its completely changed the way I game" ... like no it hasn't. stop bs'ing yourself. Don't fall for the marketing bs. If it has then maybe you were using a $30 no-name brand before. Microphone is meh too. I think the mic is better than my Razers, however these headset microphones just don't come close to one of those real XLR microphone setups. Another thing I don't like about the PC38X's microphone is that it picks up breathing very easily. It's so annoying. even if you breath quietly, it will still pick it up slightly. You have to place the microphone at an angle away from your mouth to reduce the breathing sound being picked up, however that also means that it will pick up less of your voice when you talk. They are very comfortable and I wear glasses btw. I have my headphones connected to my 'Steinberg UR12' USB Audio Interface so I'm not using the DAC on my computer's motherboard. In windows sound settings I have to set the PC38X mic to +20 dB boost, otherwise it will sound real quiet. This is also why it picks up breathing sounds very easily.

NICE HEATSET
for gaming this is the one of the best headset option the sound quality is similar to hd58x for gaming
on casual use this is very good budget heatset the mic is very good similar to blue snowball on sound quality
on music this is also very nice option
Bought these cause of the many reviews and good ratings and I am honestly unimpressed with them. I have the sounds all maxed out and it doesn't even seem that loud at all. I had corsair void pros that lasted 4 years and still louder than these.
this headset sounds extremely good for all sorts of uses, i primarily used it on COD on a ps5 and it outperformed any other headset that I've used (I've used quite a few).
The headset for me sounds a little too quiet and sometimes Im having trouble trying to adjust the mic. The sound quality is very good and the headset is super comfy.
