Curious who you think is better. Would it be JTK or someone else? There is also the whole first to market. Some GMK caps from the 90s and maybe earlier are sought after and the mind share is hard to beat. Just like Bitcoin and Ethereum in crypto despite other options being technically superior.

Base Kit Preorders are currently available for $129. We're placing our Purchase Order with GMK shortly and once it has been confirmed, they'll provide us with a new estimated shipping date which we will announce.
Cancellations are accepted up until the shipping date, with no fees charged for cancellations. No-hassle returns for US and International customers are accepted until 30 days after you've received your keycaps.

This is the realistic take.
People act like keyboard products are a charity when GMK was making this stuff for a community 4x less than what it is today. (Probably more)

Not only that. GMK has been consistently missing estimates, and then missing their new estimates.
It's 100% greed and they are more than happy to recive interest free loans for all custom keycap manufacturing for the next 1-2 years+

DeadRinger556I contacted support and they told me they were still expecting the 30th of November as the date. Guess we will see when the date rolls around.

I encourage drop to start looking into other manufactures.
Nov. 2023 is unreasonable and I'm not even convinced GMK can meet it.
To your credit, the cancellation policy you listed is very generous and above what other venders offer on gmk purchases. Especially when you factor on the early bird discount.

The novelty set looks really really disappointing...... Literally one of the worst novelty set on any EVA set I've seen. The "Emergency" enter is just bad. I don't feel EVA style in it and I don't feel emergency at all. For real, at least do some kanji caps in the EVA style and if GMK can't handle it, try a different manufacturer.

MkjenisExactly...... To be fair, most of the novelties are off. What does “A-01” mean? If you can’t do the exact EVA01 logo, just do 01. And the eyes keycap under the “A01” also looks weird, I thought it was 02’s hairband from GMK darling when I first saw it......
