Okay for the audio, not quite okay for QC
I would say that the headstage for this pair sounds really unique compared to my HD6XX, and this has been really enjoyable for the most part since I received it on Friday. The swivelling cups do fit my head relatively well, and I don't think the ear pads are too small for me either. Two things I can't wrap my head around:
1. Why is the cable such poor quality for what's worth? I had to find a replacement cable pronto because of how it didn't really connect well (yes, I did hear a snap when I connected the cable), and it's arriving soon. The current cable(s) will drop the right side's audio occasionally even though they are properly snapped in.
2. There are dents and scratches for something that's over $300. It makes me feel like I just bought a refurbished unit because of how it turned out, and QC shouldn't allow this to roll off the factory floor (or maybe it did roll on the factory floor). I've raised this to customer service and they only mentioned to offer return for refund, which doesn't make sense because there won't be another chance to own this if I were to do so.
@AxelGrell and @T.Fernandez if you're seeing this, I really hope these can be addressed

jugadorgraphyMy headphones also came with scratches and some chipped paint, which was very unfortunate to see with this kind of special edition product. Maybe they don't have QC at all, as there must be some rough handling going on at the production.

I would like to apologize for the fact that you have received an OAE1 signature with qualitative deficiencies. This must not happen and it will be replaced. We want to provide you with perfect headphones. To achieve this, we have installed a comprehensive quality assurance system that checks the quality at every stage of the production process. It is checked whether the acoustic values are within the tolerances, whether the mechanical functions work smoothly and silently and whether the visual impression is OK. Unfortunately, a handful of the 1000 devices failed the visual impression test. We are checking with production an QC to see what the cause might be. I assume that it was “human error”. As a consequence we will have a second stage of visual inspection during the final inspection.
I am pleased that you like the sound of the headphones and that they take you into new sound dimensions. I hope that you will give the OAE1 Signature 5 stars after it has been replaced by one that is as it should be.

Why haven't I received a shipping code or response from customer service for my order in over 3 weeks?
Hello, I apologize for using the community to post a customer service ticket essentially, but I haven't gotten any update from this website for my FIRST ORDER regarding some headphones I ordered. Essentially, my partner ordered me some gaming headphones ( Drop + EPOS PC38X) a few weeks ago. I have an attached screenshot of the confirmation code on this post. Normally I'd expect a shipping code to be provided, at most, a week later, but I decided to give this website a little bit more patience because to begin with, my girlfriend was skeptical, but after reading some posts on Reddit recommending this site, I convinced her it wasn't a scam. 3 weeks later, lo and behold, we still have not gotten any kind of shipping update. I am just wondering, on average, how long it takes for an order to get to the buyer here.
