The headband of the R7DX is tension-free, as it does not fit hermetically sealed headphones. So I changed HE400SE headphones and headbands, and I got a very satisfactory result.

I waited 2 weeks to get the first defective unit replaced, and this is the shit they send me. For all I know, this is the same unit with some half-assed repairs.
