Excellent Lube Application
When the Holy Panda X first came out I bought a set and hand lubed them with Krytox 205g0. I liked them so much that I wanted to put them in a second keyboard so I thought I would give these pre-lubed switches a try to save myself the time hand lubing them. After trying these switches I can confidently say that these switches are just as good as the ones I lubed myself. In fact side by side I can not tell the difference between the ones I lubed and this batch. If you are looking at the Holy Panda X switches do yourself a favor and buy these pre-lubed. The extra cost is well worth the hours you will save lubing them yourself. Note: Lubing these switches seems to reduce the tactility just slightly but I still prefer the sound and feel of these switches when they are lubed.

Drop Holy Panda X Clear Hand-Lubed Mechanical Switches
Review: Drop Holy Panda X Clear Hand-Lubed Mechanical Switches Honestly, when I purchased and got around to lubing the original Black HPX switches, I finally understood why people liked tactile switches. I will always be linear gang, first and foremost, but I have been on the hunt for a good tactile switch to mix things up. I am currently staring at a drawer full of various tactile switches that were simply beyond saving in my eyes. Meanwhile...I'm currently typing up this review of these switches...using these switches. The first run of these switches were pretty meh. But Drop took the feedback to heart and really improved the quality of these on the second run! I did use 205G0 on my own HPX switches, but I completely understand why they went with a mix of 105 and 205 - and the results speak for themselves! Gone is the scratchiness, the friction, and any other sour tasting feel or sound that you generally get from a stock tactile switch, especially the HPX stock, and instead you're left with a smooth, refined, yet full sounding tactile experience. The bump on these is very satisfying, as well as the actuation force required on every press. I find myself to be a lot more accurate when typing when using these versus my linears where I sort of faff about making typos here and there. I put these in a Polycarbonate Mode Envoy with a Carbon Fiber plate and DCX keycaps and the sound is *chef's kiss* The result is a full, thocky sound with a lot of bounce and play still in it where it has an uniqueness all to its own. If I have to be brutally honest, I think the $45 price tag is a *touch* too high, but that being said, for the quality of the switches and for the output you'll get on the back-end, these are worth it. If you want to save some money, but sink a ton of time, get the non-lubed HPX switches, you'll still get great results. I am too strapped for time these days where a build, alone, is a massive achievement for me; I simply cannot devote time to spending hours on lubing switches AND completing a build, so to me, the money is well spent in that case. Overall, I would give these a 5/5 and will be sure to pick up more sets in the future! Especially when I can use a DKC monthly coupon code to knock a few bucks off :)

After reading all the hype about these switches, i actually reluctantly got these - i prefer a stronger tactile bump. HOWEVER, i don't even know how to begin describing this feeling - i'm HOOKED. the bump isn't as strong as i usually like, but there is a FEEL to it that's.. creamy, smooth, just-enough,.. to be able to keep going on long typing days and allow swift keystrokes across the board for speed.

You do get the 'Ready to Use Right Out of the Box'-experience
In my very short keyboard enthusiast experience, I have found that with these hand-lubed switches, the extra premium you pay here vs. their non-factory prelubed state (or even of some of the non-hand factory prelubed versions), you do really get to experience such benefit in terms of simply taking them out and plucking them right away on your PCB motherboard right out of the box, having the certainty of getting their potentially fullest and best performance, sparing you from the manual task of hand-lubing them all one by one. Not cheap but very worth it.

smooth feel
These are my first ever switches (on my first ever mech kb). I chose these in part because I liked the one was in a sampler pack I had, and in part because these were already hand-lubed (and on sale). I have really enjoyed typing on them so far! For me they felt overall the best for all my fingers in various finger-positions, give or take another switch or two in that sampler. Since having the switches and using the kb about 1 month so far, I am very happy and looking forward to a good lifespan. I am a first time kb builder, and when installing these switches I managed to bend a couple of the pins on some of the switches. Lucky for me I could bend them back with a tweezer or similar tool, and they worked just fine when I replaced them properly. So for the fellow first-time installers: take a quick moment to see how it's done, and at least with the 5-pin switches they install more or less straightforwardly, with little effort.
