I really liked the frosted look to the caps and they look great with rgb, but when I removed the caps for cleaning I found that the stem on several caps had broken. I also see that the legends are starting to fade after only 2 months of light use.
BobothehoboSome switches are known for breaking keycap stems due to different manufacturers using non standard measurements for the switch stem cruciform. By any chance, are these switches you are using "box style"/dustproof or something similar? Because if they are there's a good chance their stems are out of Cherry/Cherry clones specs, and they will likely break or at least stretch/deform any keycap set you use with them.
MiToYes they are using a box style. That is good information to know going forward. I'm fairly new to this hobby and made the assumption that stems on switches were standard. Thank you for your response.
