What is SpaceFN and why you should give it a try
The SpaceFN concept - setting up your space key as a layer switch when held - is probably one of the most useful tweaks in the keyboard hobby. Let me explain how it works. My SpaceFN article on kbd.news made some rounds recently - quite surprisingly given the age of this concept. This piece you're reading is a condensed version of the full post. If you're left with unanswered questions, you'll most likely find the info you're looking for in the original write-up. On my imaginary top list of the most useful keyboard features, tweaks and hacks, SpaceFN would deserve a podium finish for sure. But what makes it so special? In short: SpaceFN is easy to implement, easy to learn, costs nothing, can be used with any keyboard, and can improve your productivity instantly. I will list its benefits below, but can state right at this point that the SpaceFN concept, setting up your space key as a layer switch when held, is clearly one of the most useful tweaks in the keyboard hobby....

We have a quick update on the MT3 keycap set. Production is still in progress and we’re currently tracking towards a 6 week delay from our original ship date. We finished our first mini sprint of dye sublimation, and we found that the process took longer than what we originally estimated. This puts our expected ship date in the middle of December.
The team is working hard to make sure everything goes smoothly in these final stages of production. Also, we now have a member of our team on the ground at the manufacturer in China. He will be overseeing the completion of the sets and helping us monitor the progress.
If you prefer not to wait for the keycaps, you can cancel your order via the transactions page (https://www.massdrop.com/transactions).
We’ll update everyone on or by 11/17 with the latest status.
I wonder how people would react if Massdrop had added another 12 months to the original estimated shipping date, wich would also increrase the price of course, and then they would be able to ship nearly 10 months in advance of schedule, presumably making everyone happy ?
YES!!!
--- looking forward to the pictures of the Triumph keys. :D
Anyway you look at it, getting things right takes a lot of experience and a little luck, but the first time you do something new you better prepare for some shin kicking because it's going to happen.
MOAR pictures please? XD Looks awesome so far!
