Inspired by the deep-red variant of its namesake gemstone, this set’s primary color is undeniably rich—and its white accents play to that primary strength perfectly, like reflections in polished stone. It’s an aesthetic that’s accentuated by doubleshot ABS construction to deliver both vivid legibility and lasting durability. And like all great gemstones, keycaps in MT3 Garnet are cut to an exceptionally precise shape. This one’s our scooped, sculpted, and ultra-satisfying MT3 profile—designed to deliver a retro typing feel with a decidedly modern touch. Our first-ever exclusive profile, MT3 is a reimagining of retro typing experience—with a look and feel that’s made for the modern user. Designed in collaboration with Matt3o, it’s based on the original beamspring terminals from the 1970s and heavily sculpted: meaning the contour from row to row forms a concave shape, designed to minimize finger travel. Each MT3 keycap also sports a scooped top: a nod back to beamspring terminals, with a slightly refined shape to better fit today’s boards. Made from durable ABS with doubleshot legends, keycaps in the MT3 Garnet Keycap Set may just last as long as the gemstones that inspired them.
