While a bit pricey as far as deskmats go the detail in the printing on this one is pretty impressive. Its a pretty standard deskmat so all good there, and it matches the MT3 Noctua set very nicely.
If I take away my bias of being a big fan of Noctua's products and style, this mousepad seems to be a great buy that will serve most people very well for a long time.
It feels to be of very high quality both in terms of materials and manufacturing. The top surface is not too grippy or too slippy, which is great for a wide variety of applications, including FPS games, which are generally the most stringent when it comes to this balance. There will likely be better options out there for competitive FPS games if that's the only thing you're after, but this will likely be more than enough for the vast majority. The underside grips my desk more than enough to stay put and it hasn't budged in the time I've had it.
I do think that despite meeting the rest of the mat in terms of quality, the edge stitching would look better in the standard Noctua beige, although I have gotten used to the white, and there may even be a practical reason for going with white over beige that I am not aware of due to being unfamiliar with the manufacturing and dyeing process of fabrics.
TL;DR -> A great product with no obvious shortcomings, and a happy customer with no regret of purchase.
Got both the blueprint and original variant. Both come with excellent stitch quality, are durable, sufficient thickness, and allow mouse to glide easily and with precision while gaming.
As someone whose PC is Noctua colour-themed, who wears Noctua hoodies, and has even painted their house in Noctua colours (yes really, brown and beige) this was an obvious pick for my desk. Although, for those who are less crazy about Noctua, spending this much on a glorified mouse-pad may be excessive.
I'm a fan of Noctua.
So this desktop pad is really cool.
The packaging is very luxurious.
The material is very soft.
If you actually use it, I think you should use it carefully.
very thick and soft material, good for casual gaming and it dampens the sound of any keyboard that you put on top of it. overall very well made and the design is so nice
I like the overall design and feel. Edges could possibly have been beige to make it Noctua colors but white is okay.
Occasionally I have to use small scissors to clean up the edges as they can fray.
bought the original pattern and have had no issues for a few months. soft, stable, and just the right amount of plush to support a heavy keyboard without it causing any creases or dents. would purchase again, but don't need to because this one will last me a lifetime!
