It's soft and padded and will keep your keyboard safe in a pack or from a small fall. Not much else to I wouldould love to see a small outside cable pocket or pouch.
After making the Preonic one of my main travel boards for my mobile setup, I desperately needed protection for it while it's in my backpack. The Preonic is hard to find cases for, however in comes Drop with yet again the perfect solution. Now it travels with safety and security! The padded inside is fantastic and soft. Heck....can Drop make one for me?
This is surprisingly better than I thought (due to its low price). The inside is soft, the close tab is sturdy, and the whole thing is thick enough to protect my keyboard in my daily use, but not too thick that makes it hard to carry around. It also fits perfectly with my Planck v7.
What else could you want from a keyboard case?
Preonic Carrying Case - Super Compact And Affordable
This is an affordable way to provide good protection to your Preonic keyboard. The color is pretty neutral so it will kind of blend in no matter what crazy or standard build you are using.
One thing to keep in mind is that in terms of size this ended up being smaller even than I was expecting. I expected there would be more dead space inside, and I kind of was hoping I would be able to use this for some other random keyboards that I have on hand too. Sadly it's not going to work for too many other things, as the dimensions are just enough to provide room for the Preonic.
The padding is thin but more than sufficient. The edge has a thick fringe but it's definitely constructed well enough to hold up to use during travel.
Overall I am pretty satisfied with it and I think if you have an ultra compact keyboard that fits in here you should definitely get one of these cases.
