So I had pbt knockoffs. They weren't really red, almost brown. Decided to give gmk a chance. The legit red samurai does use a better red, so happy with that. The texture of the keycaps is slighty grainy? Feels good. Sound better too.
I purchased these some time ago, and I was fortunate enough to make the TKL kit work with my Quefrency keyboard from keeb.io. I understand what Drop was trying to do by offering these kits that would work with keyboard form factors that they sold, but I'd like to see a move toward offering more versatile kits at affordable prices, now that other form factors are coming into vogue.
Minimalistic kitting is a good thing and a bad thing, less waste, cheaper, but only works with some keyboards, in my case it worked perfectly so 5 stars!
I will say that I was surprised that getting the largest set (1800) did NOT include 1u alt, function, and control keys that I needed for my 75% keyboard, but, I guess that's my fault for thinking it would. With cheaper sets around the internet, it looks like buying the top packages get you everything you need plus a lot more. Here, you get what you say you need. I should have just saved money and bought the correct kit! But that's my fault and does not take away from a well-deserved ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ review!
