Drop SA Green Screen Keycap Set

If the 1980s could be summarized with one computer, it would be the Apple IIe. Used on millions of desks worldwide, this PC-predecessor propelled Apple onto the worldwide stage. Its unique aesthetic also inspired many fans and faithful imitators. Among them was designer admgc, whom we connected with community designers Harlw and Oblotzky to create a keycap set honoring the legendary Apple IIe. That was 2015, the birth year of SA Green Screen. Now, over five years later, we’re resurrecting this retro-inspired set with reorganized kits to simplify the shopping experience. Outfit your keyboard with dark gray alphas and beige modifiers—and choose phosphor-green or amber legends for a throwback look to complete your setup.

Made from doubleshot ABS, our Green Screen keycaps are both durable and vivid. They’re sculpted in SA profile, which is tall and curved for a satisfying feel with each keypress. Produced by Signature Plastics, the keycaps are compatible with Cherry MX switches and stems and feature their standard easy-to-read SA tooling font.

Available in two colorways, this versatile kit covers most HHKB, 60%, 65%, TKL and custom mechanical keyboards. It includes HHKB (MX mount) compatibility with the 7u spacebar, adequate R3 control and bottom row keycaps, and extra shift keycaps in sizes 1u, 1.25u, 1.75u, 2u, and 2.25u. For 65% layouts, there’s the vertical column with novelty 1u keycaps (Test, Move, Read, and Step).

Available in two colorways, this kit is a full 5 x 12 and 4 x 12 ortholinear-compatible kit with a host of modifiers and accent keycaps. Included are 2 x 1u and 1x 2u blanks to function as space bars (concave). Several 1u novelty keycaps are also included.

This kit includes 6.25u and 7u spacebars in both phosphor and amber colors. Also included are alpha-gray 2.25u and 2.75u spacebars for split keyboards, plus extra B keys for split layouts like the Alice.
