Quality is good, but if you have never used a blank keycap set (or in this case dwarvish), do think about the traning/hardcore pick. You could end up not knowing where your keys are haha
High quality, MT3 profile remains unmatched. Legends stay in good condition for 6 months but don't scrub with strong solvents- only water and a soft cloth.
Pros:
LOTR
Dwarvish
Unique keycap profile
Matches my bamboo case nicely
Tolkien would be proud
Cons:
Lettering can rub off with solvents and cleaning solutions
Profile not for everyone
Tips: Use only water and non abrasive cloths. DO NOT rub hard.
the keycaps feel amazing with the rounded / cylindrical tops. the deep dish F and J keys will need some getting used to since there aren't the typical nubs found on most other keyboards.
the keycaps themselves sound extremely deep. they also have some what of a gritty texture on it, not sure if that was the intent or that's how the dyesub PBT keycaps feel like. the stock rainy75 doubleshot pbt keycaps didn't feel this gritty. i really feel like a dwarf in a forge
if you needed a formula for thocky + clicky, this is it
Bought the extras pack to fit my num/macro pad. The keys that have explanations on the side of the base set (ctrl and alt for example) have the side text fading rapidly. The other issue is that there is not an additional backspace size key (2) which is the exact size I needed and only comes in the blank spacebar set. Overall though the main text of these keys haven’t faded in the 1.5 yrs I have had it and I’d recommend them.
I work in IT, and have a 87% keyboard I keep in my bag to use at my client sites (I hate bad keyboards). I was wanting something different for this keyboard and I bought the Dwarvish keycap set. The keys are an amazing profile as I am working. Fingers find the keys very easily, and it looks amazing. Coworkers are calling me Nerd... but I don't care. Amazing, would recommend to a friend!
