Is anybody else having an issue with the left control of the realforce 87U? I've already sanded down the sliders for caps lock/shift to get the stickiness to go away but this key is holding me up..
EDIT: Also, with my MX caps, the enter and backspace keys keep popping off... Looked it up and it looks like realforce 87U has a different slider for the left control specifically and these sliders do not include it. This set is basically useless for a realforce 87U.
Username931235324I've got a Leopold FC660C that I just installed these sliders on and all of the stabilized keys are so sticky that not even BKE redux heavies will pop the keys back out.
I noticed before I closed up the casing so at least it'll be less work to take it apart and sand them all down but for now the kb is literally unusable.
I had heard stories about people having issues with aftermarket sliders... I guess it's pretty common.
Hopefully sanding and some lube can take care of it.
DigitalMachinistIn my case, the 87U literally has a different switch slider for the left ctrl so it'd need a ridiculous amount of sanding and reshaping for it to work. It's be nice if they just included one slider for that..
HerchenroderIt's insane we had to find out like this, rather than just get an answer from the company that is selling the product to us. Nice detective work.
