Which version of the e-mu would have more bass then a pair of Denon d5200?
I know this is a bit specific, but its what I'm using at the moment and they lack in impact, compared to what I remember my Fostex mahogany produced.
Hi all,
I just received my E-MU Teacs today and some things seem a bit off with the pair I got... :(
First off, the pads were installed the wrong way (right pad on left cup). I then noticed that my pads actually look different from every photo of the headphones I could find online: the seams are at the bottom (close to the cables), and not on the front side as in the pictures (and also on the stock pads of my very similarly built TH-X00). The L/R interior inscriptions of the pads seem to be hit or miss in the online photos; they're not there in the Drop images, but mine -- and apparently some other people -- have them.
Also, the cable connector seems to be way different than in the description pics.
Are all these differences just because of a different revision, or should I suspect my order was somehow tampered with? The wrong pad installation (and seam location) got me worried...
HydeI know, I was just a bit skeptical because of the other differences I noticed (which are presumably normal), and since Drop offered to send me a replacement, I took it for my peace of mind :)
