I like this pen because of its design, it’s weight, how it writes: excellent
I like it’s minimalist design and it’s color (I bought the aluminum one). I do not feel it’s weight at all: the name “piuma” does fit extremely well to it. The nib is a great one: I got the 1.1 calligraphy one, it’s the first time I use this type of nib and I like. I’m using a black Waterman ink and the writing is nice with its line thickness variations, it’s not too wide like an Italic one I have on another fountain pen. Sometimes you might feel it a little scratching, but it let you feel the pen. I would say you get a sort of vintage feeling. Next time I’ll refill it with another ink to see if it changes. The absence of a clip might you fear that it can roll on a desk and... fall down! But taking some care in handling the pen should easily avoid it... fingers crossed!
