How does this stack up against the PC38X? From the specs it looks like the drivers are the same, so mic frequency and closed back as opposed to open back appear to be the differences.
pc38x is open back while this is closed back and has a bit of a higher frequency range, which probably won't be noticeable though the open/closed part will definitely be.
Unless the unintended sound is near the same relative volume as the voice being put into it, it's unlikely to pick it up. If there is no voice, it can pick up some environmental noise, but it's very minor. Electret mics are very directional and are present in most EPOS headsets (formerly Sennheiser)
What is the best epos headset??? They all seem to be similair in price. I play primarily xbox series x but play pc and playstation as well. As far as games i play a lot of first person shooters
Checking aufiophiles on youtube the general consensus seems to be the sennheiser pc38x for gaming. The imaging is what people point at for an competetive edge. :)
read my comment i just posted up above about the Turtle Beach Xbox controller amp that has mic monitoring that you can toggle on/off etc. Same with the Creative Soundblaster G3 (USB-C DAC/AMP for phones, PCs, consoles etc. Has TONS of features you can set by plugging it in a PC and set it for a specific game you're playing or movies/music etc. Has TOSlink out/3.5mm audio and mic ports as well. All around works great for ANY device for any use
