Not an audiophile but they sound waaaay better then my last set.
These are extremely comfortable and the colors are really cool too. I use these for chatting with the boys and they say its a huge upgrade from the last pair. The cord is a nice touch and the finish on the headset itself is very nice. I would have enjoyed metal pieces instead of plastic.
I was sick and tired of my Razer Nari Ultimate losing its batteries when I would need them. These were sub 100 dollars and I was very surprised by how well they sounded and fit. I bought a Focusrite Scarlett solo to drive the headphones too.
The cost and the comfort were huge to me.
For the price, these are superior and comfortable. I have worn them for extended periods of time (I decline to put an actual number of hours, but its a lot) and my only complaint is my ears got a little warm in summer. I have other wireless options, but they just don't compare.
Great value under 100$, provided you complete it with a decent gaming DAC. Solid, heavy, closed-back set with good isolation and great sound for the price. Paired it with EPOS GSX 300 External Sound Card and I'm quite content with the experience, with one caveat (as described in the last paragraph).
No complaints on the sound: clean, crispy, and really good positioning in games (using stereo). Frame is quite bulky and overdesigned, but that's the look, and so far it seems like a very durable yet reasonably comfortable build. The fit is tight, but I feel no discomfort at all from the sides even wearing glasses, thanks to very comfy earpads. Top of the head can get a bit sore though after about 2 hours of uninterrupted use.
Mic quality is fine, after you fiddle with the settings. I've fine-tuned it with the EPOS software and it's ok.
One thing I REALLY don't like is that the mic is hardwired to the drivers somehow, and the louder you make the headphones, the louder you will hear yourself and everything around you (and that's before noise reduction, so you will hear EVERYTHING, amplified). This makes the headset unusable above ~70% of it's volume when you're using the mic. You need to make your DAC louder instead, and if you have a quiet one, or a built-in soundcard - forget about it. I kind of hope it's a bug, because it would be beyond idiotic to make it that way on purpose.
I've owned a lot of gaming headphones over the last 3 decades and these are one of the best. Very well designed using top-notch materials. Yes they are plastic but it's a good plastic. Audio quality is excellent. The PS5 3D audio sounds perfect with these. My son was shocked at how much better these sound than his other gaming set.
They are comfortable but warm like you would expect from any closed-back over ear headphone. Comes with 2 cables that are replaceable. The weak link in any wired headphone is always the cable. Problem solved with replaceable cables.
The mic sounds good but not broadcast quality. When you lift it up it mutes.
As for music it's good but not as good as Sennheiser headphones in the same price range.
If you want this headset get it on sale and it'll be worth it. If you want something a bit better, than get the PC38x.
Very good for the money I paid, beats all the other gaming brands hands down - for a value option, you can’t complain about anything for $79, yes the PC38X are better (I have them too) but are they $50 better? I would say 99% of gamers would be happy with these if gaming was all you wanted them for!
Built like a tank, excellent sound isolation, good sound quality (by gaming standards)
Extremely solid construction, with excellent sound isolation (they're almost like wearing hearing protection). Sound quality is excellent by gaming headset standards, but those expecting audiophile headphone performance are going to be disappointed. They blow most anything from a company that mostly makes RGB keyboards and mice out of the water, but when compared to proper headphones, they are a bit lacking. The microphone is surprisingly good, though.
These headphones are really really unconfortable, they are really tight, my ears hurt if i don't take breaks really often, the mic is meh, not terrible not great but enough for a game session, the audio quality is not horrible but not so great.
