Love the layout, look and feel of this board but let's take it 1 point at a time:
1) Comes with an aluminum and a polycarbonate plate so you can switch. I was thinking PC was going to be the way to go but it sounds so nice and crisp with the aluminum plate that I quickly went back to it.
2) The LEDs look awesome even though there could be a little bit better diffusion (not complaining, seriously, just saying) and you can easily change colors and animations with the Feker software or with the key combinations on the keyboard itself. It has a pretty understandable user manual too - which is always a plus! :D
3) The layout is possibly one of my favorites - very similar to the GMMK Pro.
4) Connectivity is great. 2.4g works flawlessly, BT5.0 as well and you always have the wired option if you like.
5) I personally feel the angle is great however if you need the keyboard to sit at more of an angle, there are a pair of feet with different heights.
6) It's a gasket mount keyboard however out of the box (even with the PC plate) it isn't really as bouncy as I was expecting. Having said that, it's still a little bouncier than my GMMK Pro with a PC plate - not exactly a benchmark for "gasket mount bounciness".
7) Now in terms of how it sounds, I have to say it's pretty crispy and nice. I put Boba U4Ts in mine and am really pleased with them. I know from experience that Holy Panda X's will feel and sound more refined but I had these lying around and thought it best to use them. It comes with foam to go between the PCB and the plate, as well as another foam for the case itself and it seems to do a good job with how it all sounds.
8) Battery life... well, I can't really comment on this yet as I only got the keyboard a few days ago, but with the lights on all of the time I suspect it's autonomy isn't going to be stellar, but having 2 batteries will definitely help. Having said that, it doesn't exactly work the way I expected it. The batteries don't work in tandem. Each battery has a dedicated purpose. One is for 2.4Ghz connectivity and the other for Bluetooth. So even though you run out of battery operating on 2.4Ghz, you can switch over to Bluetooth and still have a full battery. A nice touch is that pressing FN+Backspace will light up the number keys in green to show you the amount of battery you have left in the mode you're in.
This keyboard is currently sharing the title of "daily driver" for me along with an NCR80 with Holy Panda X's and a GMMK Pro with Boba U4's (the silent ones) - all on MT3 key-caps. Each is significantly different to the others, but I really love the experience each of them gives. The Feker IK75 is a great board for the price and definitely deserves my recommendation.
2 thumbs up from me! :)
As far as entry tkl boards go this was one of the most surprising I've seen in respects to quality, options, typing experience, and value. Perfect board for someone dipping their toe into the custom keyboard game.
