I actually wear these in uniform and they're so worth it. They keep my feet cool and warm depending on the temperature, and they're extremely soft to stand on for hours on end. You can probably snag em up cheaper elsewhere, but they're worth it regardless.
Yeah, not breathing is the only issue. I wouldn't want to wear these for more than a day, truly. They're still nice for being so thick because my boots cut into my heels really bad.
After wearing these for hiking, and just going around town for a couples months now - I much prefer my Darn Tough socks. While these socks are comfortable, well made, and a great value, I much prefer my Darn Tough socks. The big reason is that I sweat much more with these socks than I do with my Darn Tough ones, and that holds true even in cold weather. They do dry fast which is nice, but I feel that my Darn Tough socks are better at keeping a steady temperature for my feet. I rather spend the money on Darn Tough socks than these.

AlexanderFYes I did. My comment was aimed at the customer service dept. that keeps sending me automated emails promising a human response that has so far not happened.
I get that they're busy and probably understaffed but when asking the customer to contact them only results in automated email responses that don't address the issue at hand then I think it's fair to comment on that. I did my part by sending payment, now I'd like the good people at Massdrop to do their part and fulfill my order properly.
