Support for Alternative Layouts
This is a summary of how alternative layouts have been supported by kits such as Colevrak and Homing. It is not a discussion of alt layout performance and development, but if that interests you I highly recommend starting with Pascal Getreuer’s A guide to alt keyboard layouts (why, how, which one?). Is it true that this is considered like the "budget" k-type or is it all hype?
K-Type is programmable, swappable switches, synchronous RGB on keys and back plate, detachable USB-C, and comes with the Halo switch if you oped for it.
I assume it's considered a budget version based on looks and the frame lighting, but it depends on what you wanted out of the board. If the features listed aren't important then yes, this would definitely serve as a budget K-Type aesthetically.
