Don't cringe too hard but, will it work with a Razer X Tournament Edition Chroma? It has north facing LEDs and I'm guessing it'll need plate mounted ones but not sure.
Edit: Replaced pcb with plate, as I mistyped pcb originally.

AstroWanPlate.
Pull a keycap, do you see a plate or a PCB?

AstroWanI'm considering this too for mine, but I think the real problem will be the size of the hole for the LED. The RGB LEDs that Razer use are wider than normal 3mm LEDs.

ZxcckklDon't worry, I get where you're coming from on that one, honestly I picked the keyboard cause it was rgb with a standard layout (none of that longer bottom row bs, needed standard for key cap kits) and was $70 bucks refurb on amazon. If I find a better rgb keyboard that has a standard layout and is better made, I'll probably jump to that later on, but for now the software is pretty nice and the keyboard matches my build.

AldarrisHuh ya, I just popped off a keycap to check it and they are really wide, I can't imagine the dampeners will fit without alteration; but we'll hope and see if someone can bring some light to the subject.

AstroWanfairly certain 3mm LED's are already too big, so if you think yours are bigger, that might be a nogo.

AstroWani've tried to fit zealencios on my x tournament, it doesn't fit due to the RGB LED width. & zealencios have the same LED allowance as this drop's so nope this one won't fit either :(

schoolbusYa, I definitely agree, just removing the keycap and looking at the led alone it's evident it won't fit.

xeverieDarn, thanks for the definitely answer, guess I'll just ride out having the noise till I find a sufficient replacement. Thanks for the confirmation dude!
AstroWanIf it's anything like this guy's, you might need to modify them. He says they work fine after modding them, however. I plan to do it for mine. https://www.reddit.com/r/MechanicalKeyboards/comments/5ifdcj/psa_zealencios_dont_fit_switches_with_rectangular/

schoolbusdoes that mean these switches won't fit 3mm LED's, or they will just squeeze through?

CheesyCharlieHmm may give this a shot, though I'm also looking into other keyboard options possibly too. Thanks for the post, it's definitely food for thought.
