I've had these installed on my WASD Code v3 with MX Brown switches for a bit more than two years now. They dampen sound both on the down and up strokes with a soft pad on both sides of the top of the clip. This means that the key doesn't bump plastic to plastic on the downstroke, reducing noise pretty significantly. On the upstroke, the stem of the switch doesn't crash into the housing, further reducing noise. They do reduce key travel a little bit, but not as much as O rings. I can't speak to how much they reduce the click sound of switches like Greens or Blues, but they do definitely quiet a lot of the key switch noise. You can also fit O rings under the keycaps while using these as well to further reduce travel. If your keyboard has backlighting, the brightness will be slightly reduced depending on LED placement.

Is anyone else having extreme difficulty getting these onto Halo True switches? I'm pressing with a considerable amount of force on my Massdrop CTRL keyboard but they only ever catch one side at a time.
Installed on my FC660M, it fits on every switch including Enter, space, backspace and Shifts. My red switch becomes almost the same feeling as the silent red. It changes the typing experience a bit but not a lot in a good way.
I just installed these SOUND-DAMPENING BRACKETS in my GK64 keyboard with 65g Zealios V2 switches, the difference in sound is incredible, my keyboard is considerably more quiet now, I mean CONSIDERABLY more quiet. I highly recommend this product if you need to reduce keyboard noise produced by your switches.
Are these a new version then the ones sold last time, or have Drop seriously not even bothered to update the description to state that they are tested on Cherry switches and NOTHING else. So unless you have Cherry switches YMMV. I can tell you from experience that they don't work on Kails and they don't work on Zilents (not that you would need them, just thought I would try since I had them).
