Seeing the VoodooPC logo again makes me happy, yet sad. I used to be such a fan on the company, and those running it and working there, and loved both systems I bought from them but it was so sad to see them be bought out by HP. I mean it was good for the Sood's, who owned it, but I don't really think it added much for HP, at least anything that couldn't have been accomplished by just hiring someone who actually knows and is into custom PC building.
VoodooPC had a large following and went from multiple lines of custom built high priced PCs, including automotive quality paint jobs, anodized coatings of interiors. They were one of the original creators that made the wave of "custom" systems which so many boutiques now offer, They started the trend of side panel windows, blowholes, etc... and now are basically just a splashing logo to put on the occasional PC, monitor or other accessory.
I never had any issue with HP, I mean they didn't make the best PCs, but so be it, neither do many other companies, but until they destroyed VoodooPC I never hated them, as I do now.
