Due to sheer popularity and community feedback regarding purchasing an extra PCB for the IDOBAO ID80 Mechanical Keyboard Kit, here is your chance to snag an extra - whether it's for trying out extra switches for another build, or having a backup. This 75% layout PCB compliments the IDOBAO ID80 and features Kailh hot-swappable sockets, which allow users to quickly change switches without a soldering iron, QMK programmable for custom key commands, and is also outfitted with a USB-C port for fast connectivity Read More

I got some problem with the LEDs on the top side of the PCB. 2 out of 6 LEDs were dead and unresponsive to resetting or VIA configurator. The underglow LEDs worked just fine. Any ideas anyone?
Tagging @SpencerL also :)
I received mine today. I noticed that there is slight bowing in the middle of the pcb; is this going to be an issue?
I imagine that screwing it in the case will straighten it out.
Does anyone have any specifications on this board?
I plan to machine my own case and would like to get an idea on the key spacing, height of the type c connector etc.
Thank you!

I plan to post pictures once I've fully developed the case. Still waiting on the pcb etc, but I'll be tracking the time and materials needed to properly quote a few. Atm my budget for the case alone is $500, but my build plan has a lot of secondary operations and professional coating that drive up the cost significantly.
I hope in the future we have a sale with a better case for this. One that can show the underglow LEDs and the status LEDs.
For future iterations of the board:
3 1u buttons (alt, FN, ctrl) to the right of the spacebar instead of 2 1.5u
3 buttons in the right separate cluster instead of 2
Per-key SMD LEDs either preinstalled or with the right pads to add later, instead of for through LEDs (which break hotswap if installed)
rockydbullThe main ones are the button changes. I am not so picky about the lighting. Adding a couple buttons wouldn't be too hard.
Yeah, adding the lighting would probably drive up the cost, but I think a good, solid multi-use 75% with lighting would be pretty popular.
Are there any other 75% cases that this PCB will fit in? I'm not a fan of the default case this comes with in the previous full kit on Drop (I don't want an integrated plate...).
