I'll be joining this drop shortly ... it's what I joined Massdrop for in the first place. However, I have a question about the blank keycaps ... I know the whole point is that the keyboard is reconfigurable, but I still feel that I want actual letters on my keys. What are the options for that? I've noticed some other drops that provided keycaps, but it seems like an ErgoDox has a very particular set of keys (i.e., no spacebar, many double-height keys). Pointers?

hlshipthe price you pay for getting a nonstandard kb. I sourced the odd ones from SP's old b-stock. not sure if that is still around. I replaced them with the Granite 'Dox modifier set. My alphas are DCS blue double-shot abs set that was here for like $22

hlshipI bought the blank keycap set with the kit, then added a set of side-printed standard keys for the majority of the keys (alpha, numeric, arrows, punctuation). This is especially useful for getting used to the layout, and remembering where the shift-symbols are. The ErgoDox-specific keycaps are essential for the many 1.5x keys.
