So I can or can't use this to connect extra USB 3.0 devices to my Apple Time Capsule? I.e. will it act as a network adapter for connected drives so I could access them on my home network through the ACT's wireless network?

TaniosI believe the ethernet port is for adding an ethernet port to your computer and allows the computer the hub is connected to, to use it for internet/network access. I don't believe it allows attached devices like drives to be network accessible.

JuniorGamingSearching online and doing some looking, that doesn't seem to be its use and it was even stated in an earlier comment by another user who has a similar product that it is meant to add an ethernet adapter to the computer/tablet it's attached to. The product description even says "Add internet access through the gigabit ethernet port" which makes sense if it adds a usb ethernet adapter to the attached computer/tablet.

TaniosNo, it will not. The device acts as a gigabit ethernet adaptor for the computer via USB 3.0.
